There are
plenty of local attractions around Old Hall Caravan Park, but it is

excellent location for walking and has many lanes and footpaths nearby.
Silverdale and Arnside have a variety of walks that offer stunning views
of Morecambe Bay, the countryside, and the surrounding hills. Also, the
park is not far from the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales, which

The countryside surrounding Old Hall Caravan Park is a haven for wildlife, and bird watching is very popular in the area. Leighton Moss Nature Reserve is within easy reach, for those who would like to visit and try to spot various birds and butterflies amongst the reeds. There are cinemas in Morecambe and Lancaster and tenpin bowling in Morecambe. While in Morecambe, why not take a stroll along the promenade and enjoy the view over Morecambe Bay? On the west side of the Bay, families can enjoy a great day out at Cartmel Races or the famous Eskdale Miniature Railway. Another great attraction for the kids is the Dalton-in-Furness Wild Animal Park. This splendid wildlife park is one of the best in the U.K., and allows people to see animals in an environment similar to their natural habitat. Old Hall Caravan Park is also close to the historic city of Lancaster, where tourists can visit the splendid castle and museum or the town center for excellent shopping. While a guest’s holiday ‘home away from home’ may have a fully stocked kitchen, there are plenty of options if they decide to have a relaxing night off from cooking. There are many village pubs with family-friendly restaurant facilities, and a good variety of takeaway food is available in Carnforth. Additionally, Kirkby Lonsdale lies about 15 minutes to the East of the park and boasts many restaurants that would be perfect for a pub meal or a romantic dinner for two.
